Hello one and all.

Next ATF gig looming large on the Horizon.  This Saturday, July 11th we're performing at the Music On The Green Festival in Martlesham, near Ipswich. The event takes place on the 'village' Green next to the local pub.

It's a local gig for me (bit of a trek for everyone else - sorry guys) and one that I've tried to support one way or another since it started back in 2005 (I think).  All the bands play for free and money raised goes to local charities, see www.musiconthegreen.com for full details.  ATF are on stage at 6.15pm for a 45 minute set.  Loads of other top local bands as well plus a range of activities around the site. Bring a picnic blanket and your sun cream - fingers crossed.  Should be a corker if rehearsals are anything to go by and really looking forward to being able to crank it up a bit.  Let's hope that young Hooligan's on form again, and his Mystery Machine gets him there ok.....

TT

Howdy folks

Just 1 day to go till our first festival gig tomorrow.

Band all suitably rehearsed and ready to rock.  Weather looks like it will hold out for us (touching wooden things).  Only question remaining is what will young Hooligan be wearing for Wild West Show???  any suggestions??

TT

After The Fire

Before The Rain (hopefully)

Oh dear, didn't expect the nick name to stick. Sorry Young Hooligan !!

Not going to make it to the show tomorrow    sadly. Have a great time guys and hope it all goes well. Just saw the weather and looks like rain will reach you around 7pm, so hopefully you will finish the show before it gets to you.

'what will young Hooligan be wearing for Wild West Show??? '  -  A smile

Have fun tomorrow

Zippy still loving ATF (at a distance this time though !)

Hi Jennie

Have a great time today, sorry we won't get to meet up again, but there is always next gig. Don't forget your wellies and brollie !!

Am keeping my fingers crossed that the rain doesn't hit until after ATF have been on.

You will have to post a review and let me know how it all went.

Wendy (in sad, missing ATF mode  )

Great!  First time I've seen ATF live since Friday 2nd April 1982?*  That was in the, now demolished, Suffolk College hall.

I only knew about it because of the headline in the local rag.

I really enjoyed it.  Sang along with my favourites, only some songs I've never heard before.  So please, what was the second song and what were the songs that I do not have on my Der Kommissar album and Batteries Not Included album?

First song was Joy which was, if I remember correctly, used by BBC Look East to introduce its Friday arts programme.

Oh if anyone tried walking from Ipswich, it's about a 1 3/4 hour walk - I live on the eastern side of the town and one can walk along a green 'corridor'.

Cheers BTF

*Still have poster.  Not ticket!

Hats off to BTF - 3:34am and still buzzin!

All ATF fans that didn't go will be envious reading your account of the gig and it sounds like you had a good time and the guys are in good form.

Can't wait to get a gig in now MOTM Cambridge seems ages ago now.

the setlist was as follows

Just wanted to add my thanks and congrats on an excellent performance last night.New generation convert now in the shape of my daughter, and even the wife said how good she thought you were - high praise indeed from someone normally underwelmed by my choice of music!

I look forward to the next time.

Well done to all concerned last night.

Regards
