Well, I've just had a fun hour trying to buy all the heritage files currently on offer.
The first issue was that there is no way round the fact that you must have a PayPal account. It says that you don't have to have one, and I was hoping to use my card direct. But no, there is no way to opt out of PayPal [well, in the uk, at least].
The second issue is .. select your codec of choice carefully. I wanted the flacs, but accidently bought an mp3 first time. That was my fault, of course. So I ended up buying Here On My Island twice. [Goodness .. to hear a new ATF song for the first time in 11 years.]
Thirdly. I thought I'd claw back the extra expense by using the minimum £1 for a couple of files. This is not possible. Paypal rejects the payment every time. You need to offer at least £2 for the payment to be processed. I didn't actually mind this, but I'm making you aware, lest you imagine other problems. [The only other thought is that, in my case, VISA does not permit payment below £2.]
In PayPal's favour, it remembers your details obviously, so the transactions are easier after the first one.
Building Batteries .. I love this. We ran out of time in 98 (Peter had to do his tax returns) so I've not heard this material before. I love it. I remember at the time reluctantly walking away from that reel especially, with 'Cariba' written on it thinking "What is it? What is it?" On the AT2F reel, it was called 'Jungle Rhythms', so I hadn't realised it was the same song.
I'm trying to identify the live tracks. The only gig before the Marquee in Feb 77 was Luton Technical College on the 5th, but I'm not sure. I suspect these are from the same gig.
