Our latest news is quite stunning and totally out of the blue! We are delighted to announce that a double CD with the original tracks from all 3 CBS/Epic albums is to be released on the Edsel label roundabout February 2005. In addition to the album tracks certain B sides and other material will be included making this a truly special collection. ATF will be in good company as the Edsel label features artistes such as T-Rex, Ian Dury and Elvis Costello amongst their catalogue.

We are also pleased to report that it will be available on the ATF WebShop along with all major outlets such as high street record stores and Amazon. Can ATF get back into the album charts again?! We promise to bring you more information as soon as we have it.

Meanwhile we have enabled the purchasing option on the WebShop to allow advance orders for Signs of Change to be placed.

Thanks to all those who have placed orders already!

That's fantastic news!

Can we make suggestions for extra tracks?

For starters live versions of 'Take me higher' and 'Billy, Billy' should be on it.

And ATF version of 'Help!'

I'd agree with the "Take Me Higher", and the 12" version of Life In The City, and "Nobody Else But You" and...

Oh, stuff it - let's just have the lot!!

"Help"?  I missed that one...

LIFE IN THE CITY is a problem in itself which of the three studio versions do you use.

As for live versions of songs I think that the energy of the live gigs was never really fully captured on in the studio with a number of the songs have extended instrumental solos for instance:-

One Rule For You (keyboards)

Take Me Higher (Keyboards and Acopella Chorus)

Bright Lights (Drums)

Billy Billy (Guitar)

Wild West Show (percussion from PB)

Can anybody else remember any others

PB - Didn't you drop your percussion drumstick whilst doing Wild West Show and it was recorded for posterity as it was on the Beeb's Rock Goes to College transmission?

While I suppose, it's a bit premature, if SOC sells well, is there any likelihood of other ATF demos being released?

Looking good!  Are you going to autograph them for us?! (Not you, Mick!)

Any news on the box set track list yet?

Cheers, P

The double CD list is almost complete but awaiting Sony's confirmation.

The logistics of getting SoC signed by all of the band members is a nightmare.  Will enlighten you at the next Friends Reunited.
