Der Kommissar is to be the 7" version and Life in the City supposed to be the album version! All still subject to change (to do with gaining final permission from our former masters).

So who 'owns' the alternative recordings of 80-F, and the demos for the unreleased album, and is there any chance that they might get a timely official release?

That's a tricky one! As far as we can gather product that was not released but which involved a producer means copyright is elsewhere. If there are demos that involved no additional parties then there is a case for copyright belonging to ATF. Once we can establish a precedent for this, it is likely we will release the 1982 demos and others as a limited edition CD.

At the moment with the wealth of material coming out we hope it will keep everyone happy for a while!! ;-)
