The first time I went to Hull, I took the train - it was more like a bus, and felt like one too -a short little chug-chug afair. I don't think Noel was conducting in it (don't remember any music...) It seemed to emphasise the fact that Hull is (or was) a little "east of England" But I grew to love it, and lived there for almost 10 years.

I have never been to Hull. But I think the train system must be a little better by now Seagull. Or maybe not!!
Keep going Maggie, you will soon catch up to us, Roadie wise that is !
I remember Andy's daughter Holly being born in the year ATF did their final show at the dominion, 1982. In fact I think I remember seeing his wife at the show with baby. Reason I remember this was because ATF were very loud to bring a baby too !

Hull's OK.
The train service is certainly better than it used to be but the bit from Doncaster is still the slow bit.
Mind you, I'm about to move to London after 27 years up here.

With regards to Andy and what he has been upto one of his more recent vocal offerings can be heard on Nick Battle album King of my heart which was released last year and is available from his own web site.
While changing the subject if you want a biography to read Nick's book is quite good.

I've just heard something that shook my prejudices a bit. Maybe I'm not the only ATF fan who generally has no time for Hip Hop music, but for a breath of fresh (theological) air, take a listen to his link... and listen! (while waiting for more ATF news ;-) )

Yes, it's not really entertainment, is it? I guess it fills a different niche, but sometimes it doesn't harm to listen in. I couldn't take too much of that style.
