Hello all,

Downloaded a rock quiz app to my phone and have been staggered by how many atf questions there are on it.I started with 20 questions and 3 of them were atf related.When I did 50 qs there was 6 about atf!!

Times like that you remember how great and sucessful the band really were.

PS Is this forum on it's last legs as very few people now posting.

I asked before if twitter or facebook have taken over and if so I don't understand those.

No, I'm sure it's just 'cause it's holiday time. I don't think there's been much going on anywhere recently. Just wait until next week/month...

Anyway, could you try some of those questions out on us, or would they insult our intelligence by their simplicity?

Ooh Dominion, I would like to try that rock quiz. Where can I find it? Have not had much time to log onto my laptop recently, been very busy. But ATF gigs only weeks away now, so there should be lots of chat.

Hi

It's just called 1980's music quiz and available at any good Android market.It is part of a series.There is a question and then 4 poss answers.Atf qs were Der Kommisar based but they were the wrong answer on a number of other q's.

Here is one that I did in my head over the weekend whilst diy ing....I have come up with 21 separate place names in the ATF catalogue(only can have the place name once...and not every time it is mentioned in the song)

Interested if this score can be beaten(without sleeve/lyric notes being looked at)

Definately...the places do not have to be all real like Hammersmith and Paris, they can be fictional.

By the way I did have those 2 but celestial city was one of the last ones I got so well done mate.

No new active topics....

I can understand why Dominion sometimes thinks the Forum is on its last legs, but there again, it does tend to go in waves. Mark, its not as if everything is going on on facebook. There is more on FB in the way of announcements, especially for the concerts, as it's obviously a better way of communicating to a wider public. And you would have access to a good range of (mostly) Zippy/Wendy videos of recent concerts, and other information from Rob etc. So it is worth going there.

However, be reassured, the discussion section was a complete non-starter, and there's nothing really that competes with the Forum when its on form (in (all its various guises!) I reckon both have their place. Partly it's a question of what you want - Forum is a bit more indulgent and (just sometimes a bit silly!) - like a family.

I hope it keeps going! Lets give a bit of encouragement to the band and support who are working up to the next series of great concerts.

(Anyone want to pay my air fare?  It's too far for this seagull to fly. )
