Hey MJ, thanks for the review/details of the gig. Watched the video by the way, thanks.

Seagull, I didn't think a gig could happen without our JP. He could have come and kept me company at home !!

Rod, you are training your daughter well. Glad you enjoyed the evening. The new lass on the CD sales was Jennie, and I hear she did an excellent job.

And yes Seagull, it must be another kind of maths !

Really missed the show also. Will definitely be at the next one though.

Love Zippy xx

The job experience lass was Jennie ??(i.e. Sharpie??)

Bet that English degree came in useful!

Oh Seagull!!  Don't you ever wish you could delete posts?!    Come to think of it, you can, but I hadn't noticed at the time...

Yes, I was on work experience, which explains why I didn't manage to sell anything to Rod and his daughter (good to see you, Rod, and meet your daughter, glad she liked the show ).  That would need your expertise, Zippy!  It was great fun though!

(In case you're looking closely at my punctuation, Seagull: yes, I can get a bit obsessive about it but sometimes like to break the rules a bit.  Just so it doesn't become a tyrant, you understand! )

xx

Jennie, maybe you failed to relieve Rod of his Gold because you were not suitably attired in period costume, beffitting the preceeding, public correspondence between your persons. Perhaps he was disillussioned?

  Quite possibly, Seagull.

I'd forgotten someone suggested dressing up appropriately.  Are you wearing lederhosen over your Womble costume at Kingston, or have I got the wrong country?!

That's the Bavarian architype, Jennie. Not all Germans fit this picture, nor do all Germans wear round glasses or monocles, or have no sense of humour! My only (well, not quite only...) concession to living here for so long has been to develop a healthy taste for German beer, and here I am in good company with Adrian Plass, who I have met a couple of times over here (although we didn't actually drink beer together :-) )

(...and I don't mean Lager!!! ) (gnat's pee!) (crave pardon, Lady Jennifer! )

Whats worrying here is that Seagull knows what gnats pee tastes like !!

I will have a Malibu and coke please, thanks!

Now, where did I put my Womble feet....

I'm not sure that's logical!

Your Womble feet are below your Womble knees!

You'd be hard put to find enough gnats for a decent flagon...at a bog I suppose

I've always thought German beer was lager so I'm pleased to hear you also have ale, Tim!
