Come on chaps (and Chloe), get voting - I don't believe for a moment that you all think Stand By Me is the best ATF song of all time!

Do you?!

Ah, but ATF fans are past masters at vote rigging... if this vote proves anything, it'll prove that we're still masters at it too!

I'd actually be very interested to see a "Flop Of The ATF Pops" too - what's the least favourite?  (I'm not going first - don't want to be excommunicated.)

I'll be honest, there are a handful of tracks on there I've never heard of.

Never voted before, but I think I was involved in the Capitol Radio fix for "One Rule". I still have the single, bought on my behalf, by a friend at a major record outlet in London. 1977?? In fact, I have most of the early singles!

Oh, my vote? One Rule or Gina

or Billy Billy

or ????

"Life in the City" is not my favourite ATF track although I think it is the best produced one on the album (and we all know why that is).

What I want to know is why "You never told Me" is not on the list?  I distictly remember hearing it at the Marque and Hope & Anchor back in 78/79 and it remains my favourite ATF track.

Perhaps there was no such ATF song, I imagined the whole thing and have been living under an illusion for the last 25+ years.  If so I have an original composition in my head which I will copyright and have a massive hit with.

I seem to remember that 'You never told me' disappeared from the set fairly early on, after Mr Russel joined. Yes, it was a real song, along with 'Help!', and I only ever remember hearing it at the Marquee. I may be mistaken,  but there seem to have been a few early songs that never got recorded.

I never saw ATF as a three-piece combo, but my brother did. I think he also saw the last concert with Banksy playing Hammond organ... I certainly went to one of the first 4-piece gigs at the Marquee, which (unless the band can correct me) coincided with the introduction of the Yamaha CS80.

(Geek or what).

Does John still have the left-hand Les Paul custom?

I also vote for Suspended Animation

ATTENTION LADS AND LASSES!

In consultation with the powers that be, a more scientific method for working out the top ATF songs of all time has been decided upon.

This time, it's unriggable!

So, if you want to join in, please have a nice cup of tea and a sit down, scratch your noggin a bit, then write down your top 20 ATF songs of all time.   List them, if you will, numbered 1 to 20, with your absolute fave (no. 1) at the top, down to no. 20 at the bottom.  You can include ANY ATF track, so stuff like 'You Never Told Me' (Kevyn!) and 'Never Snog A Badger' are in, if you want to include them - the choice is yours.  When you're done (no rush), list them up here or, if you're shy, PM them to me.

Remember, the more people who join in, the more representative the final result will be....!!

Cheers all
