I was wondering if we could work out which GB sets were taped and who has them. I have:

GB75: 3 tracks

GB77: 1 track

GB79: whole set

I would love to secure info on GB76 and the two GB77 sets.

For that matter, did anybody tape their Reading 78 set?

It's not strictly what you're talking about here, but I do have a 1983 recording from Radio 1 of the only broadcast of the unreleased, ahem, "After The Fire" single "We've Gotta Get Out Of This Place".  You can hear Greenbelt chatter in the background over the second verse though.

Yes, some of that chatter was me I'm afraid. I taed it from within the crowd. It's really Andy's song, and it was on Free Heat. Seveal times I've nearly got Andy to hand me a copy, but he's quite reluctant because of it's sound, apparently. I think he emigrated just to avoid it :(

R1 did a roadshow at GB79, which included an interviw with Andy.

From what I've heard, there's nowt wrong with the sound except your chatter!

Somewhere I have GB75 (both sets) and GB76 (full set). They're copies and I'm not sure how well they've survived. I may have some others but I'd have to hunt. Like others they're recorded in the crowd so do have crowd chatter (+rain in 76).

Paul.

Can anyone give me the background on a track called "Lonley" which I thought was from the Free Heat sessions?

It may well have been from a Greenbelt session 83/84
