Ladies and gentlemen,

May I ask you to raise your glasses to toast to the late, great, Robert Moog to whome we owe a debt of gratitude for providing our very own Mr Banks with an amazing instrument, that was years, if not decades ahead of it's time.

Thought it deserved a mention.

Good mention, nothing like a Moog, Bob will be missed.....

Switched on Bach was a huge influence on me prior to Keith Emerson getting Moogs.

I learnt so much from reading the manual that came with my Mini Moog. I methodically read it from cover to cover, ticking the pages off in pencil as I went. Set me up for the future.

Far be it from me to comment upon the nocturnal habbits of the great Banksy, but it does sound a trifle "anaraky".

I bought myself a Roland TDK8 drum kit a couple of years ago, and with the best of intentions, I did set myself to fully explore the manual. But within a couple of chapters, I got bored, so I just plugged it in and give it a whack, and I haven't looked back since.

But maybe that's why I still only use one or two kits on the unit and Banksy is able to make his keyboards sing.

Note to self: Reading and learning is good, even for a drummer !!
