My old drummer from my band Unit 33:3(Circa 1983-84) got me into the band and now I think I got into them even more than him!

I found an old cassette copy of Der Kommissar a couple years ago and just recently put it on my pc with Audacity (free recording software-nice stuff!)

I just found out today that CD's were available from ATF, guess what just made my Christmas wish list;)???

Arbermarle Youth Club, Harold Hill, East London, summer of '77.  Those were the days.

Highly recommend the CD's.  Not only is the sound quality better - some of the CBS pressings were dreadful, but the bonus tracks are great as well.

I first saw them at Greenbelt 1976 in the rain. This was pre-Ivor and pre-Nick Battle. Ian Adamson and Robin Childs were in the band at that time. These were also the days before Signs of change! I had to buy Ishmaels "Charge of the light brigade" to be able to hear ATF at all. Great gig though, the first of many.

Rock goes to college in 1980 at Nottingham supporting those has beens U2.

I remember a christian rock fanzine at the time trintging off ATF for ignoring their roots and praising U2 for being the "new" christian band...........How that situation reversed itself over the years.

1979 in my bedroom at home, One Rule For You, on the radio one Saturday morning. I had heard of the band before then but not their music.

First gig was Oct/Nov 1980 in Norwich, would have been a year earlier but the Norwich gig on the autumn 79 tour was cancelled.
