1.   No.  Unless you are surrounded by supporters of the other side, in which case it is highly recommended.

2.   According to Trinny and Susannah - only if you are short and fat, it makes you appear taller and slimmer.

3.   You get a rattle from where a rival supporter punches you.

4.   Either Will Smith or Tommy Lee Jones.

5.  If you don't know, there is no point in me explaining it to you.

6.   Tell your son that he can stay up to watch the highlights on Match of the Day.

Hope this helps, Pushbike.

Reading! I didn't know the pushbike kid could read, we have to send tapes of the forum posts as it is! Tomorrow he may be football crazy, well half of that!

so my 1st footy match

will i go again ?? only if i have to, we did have free vip tickets and car pass but it still took longer getting in and out than the whole match and at the end of it i found i did not care who won or lost
i had no idea who the players were or why the fans were clapping or booing

but on a + side it turns out the chap in black is a banker!! good of the FA to offer free pension advice to the teams while they are at work.

there i did that without using the words  game of two half's,   early doors,  sick as a parrot, and to be far to the other side.

i might turn this into a blog ( whatever that is)

1. In certain circumstances - e.g. you're a Spurs supporter and if you lose Arsenal don't win the premiership.

2. This is cultural. In Italy, the whole sheep is preferred as it's hard just to throw a scarf onto a pitch.

3. Again, cultural. At Middlesborough, wind chimes are more appropriate due to the vast open spaces in the stands.

4. He's there so the two sets of supporters have something they can agree on.

5. I'm not sure anyone knows any more.

6. Go and watch the curling. You'll then long for football.

Paul.

So I'm not the only Mark on this board who supports the mighty Blues? Except in my case the mighty Blues are Everton!

And I'd better not forget Prescot Cables who give me my login name.

Shameful, I say shameful! You knitting companies wanting free advertising on topnotch websites. Sites where honesty and truth are usually beyond compromise, a forum that holds the utmost of high standards, people who have no other life outside their total commitment to After The Fire. I have never heard of a drink called Mark either!
