can anyone remember the band that brought this single out i think in the 80's.heard on rad 2 the other day but they didn't mention the artist and it bought back fond memories of uni.

I can't help with what you heard on the radio. But a couple of nights ago I was listening to an album called Duel and the artist was Iva Twydell, I also listened to his Secret Srvice album the night before that

Propaganda's second single, the more pop-oriented "Duel", didn't surface until April 1985. Perhaps the band's most recognisable release, it was also their most successful single in the UK, reaching number 21.

BRILLIANT YOU REALLY ARE A STAR TIMEY.

Video as well!!! what a great track...I'm off to download it now.

I seem to remember the singer being a bit more lush than that.....perhaps my taste has changed as I've got older.

thought didi may have a comment or two on propaganda being a German group

Didn't know they were German.

Apart from them and Yello and Trio can't have been many other successful German acts in the British Charts?
