Still can't get over the release of the CBS albums on CD - it's a dream come true. As well as the euphoria of being able to listen to all the album tracks without having to connect up my deck to the hi fi each time, it's also time to play...

SPOT THE CD ON THE HIGH STREET!

So here goes...

Double CD spotted on the shelves in HMV store in Telford 2-5-05

Mysterously after my visit it made it's way to the front of the shelf - reminds me of a game I used to play 20 or so years ago!! It's all about product placement - a bid to get the message through to fans from the 80s that the band are back, and how!

I will visit HMV and Virgin tomorrow and put your placement theory into action

We need to enlighten and educate the masses into a more cultured taste in music

I've been playing that game too!  HMV generally seem to stock it (the larger stores), as do MVC, but I haven't found a Virgin with one yet.  Also spotted someone buying it in HMV, and it wasn't long before another appeared on the racks...

What does "buyong" mean?!

Our HMV have sold a second copy and MVC too.  Trouble is, neither of them seem to have replaced them with other copies yet...
