It was my annual school reunion last night and I happened to mention that I
was going to see ATF next Friday. I'm usually met with blank stares when I
use the name After The Fire, but one of my old school friends said "I've seen
them twice". I asked him when. He said 1980, but didn't get a chance to say
when he saw them for the second time - I interrupted and accused him of
being born out of wedlock! I've liked them since 1979 and saw them for the
first time last year!
My friend lives in Yorkshire so I've arranged to meet him when the
Normanton gig is re-arranged. Another old fan re-enters the fold!
