Well, I'm all in favour of going into town to shop! You can buy a guitar over the internet, but you can't cradle it in your arms first, or really hear how it sounds. I'm constantly having to return clothes to the pick up point, which my wife has ordered, only to reject upon trying on. Long live the High Street! Good Documentary !
Chewing Gum blobs seem to be a big threat to the High St. in Lincoln. Or maybe they make people stay longer?
I was impressed in Lemgo (Germany). They offer 1 hour free parking to begin with, after which you start paying. It's a kind of good-will gesture
Lincoln has a good German Street Market around Christmas time - or used to, anyway...
