 | Hey, never been to Bandcamp before ! Anyone else listened to the Roughmix Bandcamp stuff yet ? I didn't recognise that Low Lights was Bright Lights until right at the end ! Its good to have some different material to listen to and also the interesting changes to the actual song titles ! I think I would rather be Stuck in Paris then Stuck in Portsmouth, even though I have nothing against Portsmouth ! I like the jumpy coloured block thingys, or is that called a graphic equilizer ! Got any comments anyone ? Zippy

I also loved the jumpy blocky things - they were especcially fun on Psalm. They reminded me of those coloured wooden blocks we used in maths at junior school when we were learning about centimetres and volume and things ... only these are far more dynamic! I didn't want to mention them, but seeing as Zippy has started; I don't feel so inhibited!

Hi Seagull, I didn't want to mention the similarity between the blocks from maths at school and the jumpy coloured thingys, but as you have now said it..... yes, its what I thought of when I saw them !!!

 | Well, we're helping each other get rid of our inhibitions, arn't we? We used to cut out squared paper to wrap around the blocks, thus creating a net. Our headmaster was bonkers about those blocks - he always got us doing that if a teacher was ill or something.

 | Do you mean the blocks that we had to pack away in a box with the right length slots?  I liked those blocks and they seemed the height of sophistication in 1964!  Probably were the most modern thing we had in my village school in Dorset! I've looked at most of the others but still like the dancing blocks best ... Have only listened to Psalm so far

 | I have identified Building Batteries as Reel no PB021. Details on the box: PB021, HQ(to), stereo, prod: ATF, eng: PB

| 1. Bright Lights 2. Rich Boys
 3. Frozen Rivers
 4. Sailing Ship
 5. Cariba
 6. Stuck In Paris
 7. Sometimes
 8. Gina

BTW, the Space Walking demo included on AT2F is from Reel PB020, track 2. The backing vocals are Judy Piercy. There are another 4 reels from the Batteries rehearsal demos Peter could choose to make available.

It seems that secretly the maths blocks from school must have worked as we all have memories of them ! Although I prefer them jumping around to ATF music !
