I reallly enjoyed the concert.  It was a real shame that so few people made it - I think that there were less than 30 in the "crowd". I'd told friends but it seems none could make it.   ATF gave their all, and were really rocking by the third number.  What was it by the way?  I remember it from Foxton but don't have it on CD.   The encore was fantastic.  My friend (who did not bop madly around, grinning from ear to ear) really enjoyed the concert too, and had only seen the acoustic ATF at Bradwell three years ago.  I thought that the venue was fine - nice to be able to drink tea  and I don't mind about lack of alcohol.  But maybe it is too remote.

Good to hear that thirty people can rock! You should have rounded up all the locals, whether they wanted it or not...

Quelle suprise.

I thought there was a plan, a couple of warm up gigs to ease themselves in gently.  A few soft stretches, making sure no one pulls a muscle. Then play in the south east where they wouldn't recognise a good performance if it landed on their head. But no, oh no, see previous post, really rocking by the third number.' What was it, a stage, the whiff of greasepaint, a smattering of applause? And then the plan's out of the window and the band are going at it like a Jack Russell at incoming mail through a letterbox. Thinking their topping the bill at Sunday Night at the Palladium. Talk about pacing themselves.

So I expect they'll be heading for the ATF prop shop, getting out the deckchairs from SoC cover for on stage support, unless they can get a discount on some Shackleton's High Chairs. So will we then be subject to listening to the ATF go ambient and ending up playing 20 min versions that sound like Tangerine Dream meets the Clangers? I hope I'm wrong.

Thinking about it I've got a good mind to send them to Coventry.
