So if it's OK to flag this up:

"Right then.  The fact that you are frequenting an ATF forum suggests to me that you're a person of good taste.  So, if that's the case, then there are other things which a person of good taste really ought not to miss out on, like this:

DOCTOR WHO IS BACK!!! "

then surely, surely we must herald the appearance of that villain of villains from ATF's heydays, yes you've guessed it, the genesis of...

DARTH VADER!

Is anyone like me looking to Star Wars III to redeem the Episodes I and II, and finally connect back to glory of the first films?

Can't wait myself!!!!

I'll reserve judgement until I've seen it! I want to believe, I really do...

Anybody watch Hustle, or Alias?  Top class progs, both, and great theme tunes too!

Nope on Hustle or Alias. But I did watch Spooks, which was great. The other 'must not miss' is 24.

But back to Revenge of the the Sith ... I'm not as dismissive of Episodes I and II as a lot of critics have been (suspect there's a bit of 'it's not like the old days' in there), they're just quite different from IV-VI. It looks as if Lucas is storing a lot of hope in Episode III not only bridging the gap with the original trilogy, but also being closer to them by introducing Wookies to the film and with C3-PO ending the film on the same deck that A New Hope begins.

My big question is this: while the original trilogy was being filmed Lucas talked a lot about it being the middle trilogy of three trilogies. Ever since the prequels have been in the making there has been no mention of this, rather of six episodes, and Lucas completing the jobs and there being no more films. So what happened to Episodes VII-IX ?????????

There is a fair amount of detail with regards to the plot post episode 6 at www.starwars.com.

Essentially the emperor is not killed at the end of episode 6, only his physical form. He has previously had clones of himself created, and employed an ancient Sith technique to transfer his consciousness into a waiting clone.

Eventually the Emperor captures Luke and forces him to become an apprentice of the dark side.

There are no plans to make the final 3 movies.

Currently planned are two spin off projects:

The first is a 3-D animated half-hour that expands on the "Clone Wars" miniseries of which Lucasfilm has done two cycles for Cartoon Network.

The second is a spin-off live-action series that would focus on some supporting characters who've been introduced in the movies.

Lucas said: "We're probably not going to start that for about a year," he said. "Like on 'The Young
Indiana Jones Chronicles,' we want to write all the stories for the entire first season all at once. I'm going to get it started and hire the showrunners and all of that, then I'll probably step away."

I have to say that i am an ardent Hustle fan...last night was the last in the current series ohhhhh no.

What an excellent drama well worth the license fee.

For the bonding of two great creations of the last century brought into the 21st try the lego Star Wars game, my sons are currently enjoying playing it on PS2.

Or if you just want the Lego I am told that the Light Sabres light up when you press the lego mans head down.
