Come with me now, if you will, to an alternative reality, where fate/God/Zarquon has seen fit to put you in the enviable position of being able to choose a song which ATF must cover.

The rules are simple: it can be anything except "Wannabe" by the Spice Girls or a Chas & Dave cover.  Oh, and absolutely NO Crazy Frog!

I was always partial to The First Picture Of You by Lotus Eaters myself, which apart from anything else would suit Keith's voice, I think.

Over to you. Hammertime!!

Difficult one this, to choose one song that would fit in roughly with the bands sound. Maybe 'Wondrous Stories' by Yes or to be very accurate sound wise 'Jump' by Van Halen (all ready discussed with in the forum!)

If I could be totally indulgent, a song called 'Rainbow or the thunder' a song about the missionaries massacred in what was Rhodesia, but I wrote that one and so you may have to listen to it if I ever get the vocals finished! (if you have the slightest interest)

Ah yes...well, I'd love to hear them cover one of my Chicken songs, but it ain't gonna happen!

Ever hear Billy Sherwood's solo cover of "Wonderous Stories"?  I think he put it out under the name World Trade - anyway, I thought it was better than the original.  I told him so too!

What about something up to date

I reckon half light by athlete - scope in that for peter & synth

Strong vocals for Keith

Matty style drumming

Nice thumping bass line for Ian

Plenty of opportunity for John to nod and smile

ROCK ON ATF - YOU'RE THE BEST

"Don't You Forget About Me" by Simple Minds.

It's been covered before but I think ATF2 would do a great version!

I suppose the ATF tribute band song 'jump' was a dead cert for being suggested by someone!
