Just for those who couldn't make it the set list was
as follows (fairly similar to Greenbelt):
1980-f
Life in the City
Frozen Rivers
Forged from Faith
Time to Think
Dancing in the Shadows
(Drum solo)
Who's Gonna Love You
Wildflower
One Rule For You
Billy Billy
Der Kommissar
Laser Love
Starflight
.......................
Joy
One Rule (reprise)
Enjoyed the show (again except for the sound
problems at the beginning) as did my missus who
had never seen ATF previously. She even made me
play the tapes of the albums on the long trek home
to Sussex!! Looking forward to the next time.

Some pics are viewable offsite (until they're sorted for ATF site) to see them go to: http://www.egner.org.uk/ATFpics.htm
Any caption ideas?!!!!!!

Seen the photos, the one of Keith with the blue background andthe one with Pete in red are astoundingly good. Should be put on the next release.

Well chaps I got my pass, bought along half a dozen guys who haven't been together for 20 years and had a great time.
We missed the quiz result (the call of the pub was too great...) and most of the RGTC video (release date ?)
Loved the old songs which I thought I would never hear again like that, and was even more impressed to hear real high quality new stuff.
However, my most lingering feeling is one of sadness at all this brilliant music playing in a church hall in the midlands instead of stadia...

Just a few further thoughts.
I was very impressed with Keith, though obviously
some songs fit his voice better than others. Seemed
less nervous than at Greenbelt and grew in stature
as the evening progressed, really getting into the
songs. Interested to see (hear?) no "Higher' or 'Jet'
which I assume is down to the famous AP vocal
gyrations that must make the songs a bit of a mare
for anyone else to sing?
I was astounded at Matt. Never believed he could be
that good at that age .... and Ian just looked
completely unruffled by the whole thing - a picture of
cool.
No pogoing from John and Pete, but it was great to
see them in action again. Didn't everyone use to
point at John during his solos? Must admit the old
memory is not as good as it was. As the quiz
showed.
A good mixture of songs from the three CBS albums
and some great new tracks. Still think 'Der
Kommissar' is utterly, utterly dreadful, though.

Malclom, they're fab! Mind if I nick a couple for the ESL website (with acknowledgement of course)?
And there is one of Matt - it's number 4 in the "gig" section. That's his shadow on the ceiling!
Paul.
