The lack of pogoing from John and Pete was noted - as was the lack of smarty bombs - at least there were no heart attacks, serious injury or property damage...
More effort required next time !
My own sad body was reduced to a sort of "fat bloke pogo" this involved bobbing up and down vagually in time to the music but without the feet ever leaving the floor... I believe I was not alone in this new limited enthusiastic approach !

Ah, so pleased im still young! Although i only managed to clap, nod my head and tap my feet! .....but thats cos im cool....and i didn't want to mess up my hair!

I enjoy Radio 2, where else can you hear Stairway to heaven, Black night, Terry Wogan, Johnny Walker, Bob Harris, Hymns after Church on a Sunday night, Steve Wright and Mike Harding? I keep asking then for ATF and persistence will work one day. This doesn't mean I'm old, it means I like good music without daft frogs!!!

Hey don't knock Radio 2. It's actually playing some decent music for a good chunk of the time!

Incidentally the guys who did the percussion at the FUN day - and didn't they do a brilliant job!!! - that's not the only thing they do. Check out their main website - www.verticalreality.co.uk - and see what else they have to offer - juggling, diabolo, etc etc, available for performances, childrens parties, weddings and Bar Mitzvah's etc!!!!!!

Hey Chloe
My 10 year old daughter (who was serving refreshments) is contesting any exclusive claims on the wooooos! She was doing a pretty good job at the back of the hall! And she now thinks ATF are the best band ever! Now all I have to do is work on my other daughter, and my son who did the pics. Much harder jpob there - he's into Athlete amongst others!

No I don't think he was knocking it - but we tend to be a bit defensive when we do praise it. Certainly I think it's playing better music than Radio 1 at the moment including very contemporary stuff. But my kids don't rate it at all ... now is that because they don't rate anything I like!???????

Hi Malcolm
You are right I was singing its praises, and we do get defensive! The reason I like R2 is that it brings back memories of my younger days, there is not much around that I will listen to these days although as I was driving home from work after midnight this morning (listening to Janice Long) there was a good session on by some young Australian girl. Missy something or another (there's a surname to conjure with!)
