Yep, it's " Yippee!" from me too, it's been on repeat play since it fell through the letterbox this morning.
I can't imagine how Pete and John feel after all this time......something like Brian Johnson when Smile was finally finished?? But I'm well chuffed for them.......... and for the rest of us, of course!!
AND two of the 'tour 'dates too!!!!
So, just the Rock Goes To College DVD to deliver next. THANKS SO MUCH

Brian Johnson Maggie ? Wasn't he the BBC cricket commentator with a
penchant for chocolate cake ?
Years ago there was a thread for "Best Gig Ever" - I'd have to put the first
time Brian Wilson played "Smile" at The Royal Festival Hall. Everyone of us
there knew we'd just head something of immense importance and quite
staggering brilliance and I suspect, when we'd dried our eyes, we all went
home to listen to Sgt Pepper again. Rumour has it that Smile went un-
released because Wilson thought it so inferior to what the FabFour had
done. Don't wish to start that argument though - I mean, you wouldn't
call either album a mistake, would you ?

Doh, it's my age....of course I meant WILSON, but the other guy sounds pretty cool too, as far as chocolate cake is concerned!! (not so sure about the cricket though) That must have been some gig...I turned a shade of green when I read your post, but then I recovered quickly when I remembered about the two forthcoming ATF2 dates.
What superb musical tastes we share!!

So now we have it at last, what's your favourite track(s)?
Mine is Young Love and Dark Side.
PS: Why on the main pic is PK just getting out of his seat?

I don't think he is getting out of his seat! That's the look of a chap who is clenching and "floating an air-biscuit". Hence the reason Andy has a shocked, slightly too smiley-smile on his face, 'cos he's getting the full bout. John's trying hard to hold his breath, and Peter B's trying to keep his nose down because heat rises!!
I'll get my coat....

Yesssss,
finally we got what we wanted and the circle is full! Like my wife says I'm now in a state of "momentary lapse of reason". You can not imagine how thankfull I am for making this release possible. Great tactical decision to present track 15 as a "ghosttrack". And now I know why part two of it always reminded me of Jeff Lynne. The phrase may be flat, but The fire still burns !!!
Thanks

Oh YES! Now who'd have thought! This is a teasing glimpse of what could have been. And you're right, it's like several Christmas's all come at once!
... so what are the chances of polishing these off in the studio??? Now there's a thought!
